“Dad, can we go and try TreesureGame”?
This is a blog post, we made few months back in Finnish, but we also wanted to share the post with our international readers.
This is a true story of something, that happened to our creative director Samuli:
“One night I had a very pleasant surprise, when my 7 years old boy asked me, if he could go out with me to try TreesureGame. To understand that sentence as a surprise, you need to know few things about my son. He is a first grade student, but he really doesn’t like outdoors and he especially hates being in a freezing weather. He loves playing console games and he doesn’t have any hobbies activating physically. (So he sounds a pretty much like me at my first 30 years…)
That evening there was around minus 15 degrees outdoors, but I still accepted the challenge to go and try TreesureGame with my son.
My son wearied he clothes in a world record time of three minutes and we went our to try TreesureGame. I planned just a short route around few blocks and then back to our house. Actually, the route was over 1,5 kilometers long.
The adventure fulfilled all my son’s the expections. When we returned home 30 minutes later, we had a memory of funny adventure, which included a lot of funny tasks such as walking as slow as possible.
“Can we take the other direction next time?” he asked, when we returned home. I was so happy!
After the adventure we went to Finnish sauna to remember how funny the route actually was. That was one funny Sunday evening.
